About John Gamboa

John Gamboa is from the San Francisco Bay Area and is married to his wonderful wife of over 20 years. They have five wonderful children together who keep both of them on their toes. He works as an IT Systems Engineer for an IT consultant firm that serves small businesses in the San Francisco and surrounding areas. Another field John is venturing into is software programming and web development and is currently learning Ruby and will also begin studying Javascript, HTML, and CSS for a full stack knowledge of web development once he has completed his courses.

John has lived in California all his life. He was born in the San Francisco Bay Area, raised in Los Angeles, then moved back to the Bay Area to attend college at San Francisco State. He’s called Vallejo, South San Francisco, Daly City, American Canyon, and San Francisco home over past several years.

One of his favorite areas to visit is the Napa Valley and its surrounding areas like Sonoma, Napa, Vallejo, Fairfield, Suisun City, American Canyon, and Benicia. That is the reason he started this site. This is where he’ll post about different things about those areas. Places to go, sites to see, places to eat, and some local events.

His favorite things to do are spending time with his wife and kids, playing golf and basketball, as well as reading good books – fiction, real estate, and business.

John Gamboa also buys houses in and around the Napa Valley. Napa, Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville, Benicia, Cordelia, Suisun City, American Canyon, and all around Napa County and Solano County.

His favorite TV shows: Psych, Scorpion, Arrested Development, Person of Interest, Criminal Minds
